Rutter and Smart to join Monstermob in 2005?Monstermob have released their intentions to run two bikes next season and top of the shopping list is Hawk Kawasaki's Scott Smart and HM Honda rider Michael Rutter.

“I've been wanting to sign Rutter for a few years now and would like him in the team more than ever in 2005,” admitted Paul Bird, the Monstermob team owner.

Bird is also interested in the Hawk rider Smart, who does a great deal of his own Engine development.

“Scott (Smart) knows there is a place for him at Monstermob next season if he wants it,” continued Bird.

The Monstermob team owner was keen to stress his loyalty to Ducati and is awaiting a package proposal from them in September. This is likely to determine the team's capability to attract riders
